Organizers of Detroit’s effort to land the 2014-2016 X Games have just released the entire new video to support the city’s bid. Detroit is one of four cities that are finalists to host the ESPN X Games for three straight years, starting next year. The other finalists are Chicago, Charlotte, and Austin, Texas.

A crumbling downtown Detroit eyesore will be coming down this month. Demolition on the Hotel Charlevoix will likely begin on May 28th, according to Nathan Ford, who is the director of Detroit’s Buildings, Safety, Engineering and Environmental Department.
