Cruisin’ On Woodward

The Woodward Dream Cruise is almost here!

It’s the largest one-day automotive event in the world and draws more than one million people to Woodward Avenue every year.

WXYZ-TV has exclusive coverage of the Woodward Dream Cruise. On Saturday, August 18th from 7 to 9 p.m., Channel 7 will provide bumper-to-bumper coverage of all the action from Ferndale to Pontiac, with live reports from a new hot spot on Woodward, the Vinsetta Garage in Berkley.

WXYZ has coverage all week long leading up to the Dream Cruise with live reports from Woodward Avenue, and 7 Action News will broadcast live from the event on Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th.

Here’s just a few of the Woodward Dream Cruise events:

-Berkley: Friday, August 17th at 6:30 p.m.–Classic Car Parade from 12 Mile and Woodward to 12 Mile and Greenfield.

-Bloomfield Township: Saturday, August 18th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.–Classic Car Show at Mercedes Benz of Bloomfield, 36600 Woodward.

-Ferndale: Friday, August 17th at 5 p.m.–Official ribbon cutting ceremony; 5:30 p.m.–Lights & Sirens Cruise

-Pontiac–Friday, August 17th at 7 p.m.–Classic Parade

-Royal Oak–Saturday, August 18th–Chevrolet Display at Normandy Plaza; Classic Car Show at Northwood Shopping Center.
