Motown Museum Extends Summer Hours

July 06 2012 | no comments

During July and August, Detroit’s Motown Museum will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Saturdays, the hours will extend from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

“These seasonal hours are a great chance for new visitors to experience the museum and to walk the floors of the original studio where many of their favorite hits were recorded and allows longtime museum fans to view the museum’s temporary exhibit, Marvin Gaye: The Motown Years, while it is still available,” said Lina Stephens, the Museum’s Chief Curator.

Admission to the Motown Museum is $10 for adults. Children under 12 and people 62 and over are $8. Children 4 and under are admitted free.

The Motown Museum is located at 2648 West Grand Boulevard.
