New Adopt A Warren Park Program

May 17 2012 | no comments

Warren is launching an “Adopt a Warren Park” Program that invites community groups to clean up any of the city’s 26 parks.

The new program is part of Mayor Jim Fouts’ vision of “a cleaner city.”

Business, church, community scouting and neighborhood groups can adopt a city park if they agree to clean a park four to six times a year.

Fouts says he likes to call this program “joining our city’s ‘clean team,’” adding “it builds community pride in our city.”

For more information, call Warren’s Department of Public Works at (586) 759-9270.
