The Greening Of Detroit

Detroit is a-bloom!

Arriving with the new spring—is the need for spring clean-up.

Rakes, brooms, shovels and hoes are all at the ready.

More than a dozen volunteers from the IT hosting company, Secure 24, came ready to work at the Greening of Detroit Park on East Jefferson.

The Greening of Detroit adopted the park in the late 1990’s.

Every other week—on Wednesday’s—people gather.  They work in the soil, giving something back—while cultivating a place of beauty in the city.
