The Future Of Transportation In Detroit?
The problems with Detroit’s bus system have been well publicized. Light rail has been talked about for years.
So what will the future of mass transit in Detroit look like?
Andy Didorosi thinks he may have the start of a solution. It’s called The Detroit Bus Company. Stephen Clark talked with the 25 year-old social entrepreneur about his plan.
Didorosi is looking at a price point of around $5 for an all day pass. He hopes to get things rolling in April.
Eventually he sees The Detroit Bus Company running routes from Downtown to Metro Airport, and up and down the city’s spokes–Woodward, Gratiot and Grand River.
